About half way through the 1.25 mile Rock Bridge Loop, Trail #207, you will find a sandy beach and this gorgeous waterfall called Creation Falls. Located in the Clifty Wilderness Area of Red River Gorge in Eastern Kentucky. It's not often the 50mm f/1.4 gets pulled out for landscape photos... 9-image HDR.

Rock climbing is an awesome way to enjoy the great outdoors, not to mention a hardcore total-body workout. So grab a pair of rock climbing shoes, some climbing rope, and plan a trip to one of these gorgeous places to go rock climbing.

Creation Falls Clifty Wilderness Daniel Boone National Forest Kentucky I thought I would post a shot of one of my favorite places in the state of Kentucky as I'm going to spend a 3 day weekend down there with good friends Jason Haley, Randy Sanger and Todd Williams and visits by Flickr friends Refmo and MarcusDC. The Mountain Parkway (facing west) runs thru the Daniel Boone National Forest with the Red River Gorge to the right and Natural Bridge State Park to the left. For the last 20 years I've driven this road hundreds of times. On a recent trip I stopped on this bridge going out to Gray's Arch. A lifetime of memories flooded my head. Sometimes you have to stop and enjoy the journey...take stock of where you've been and where you want to go. FYI....that hill is steep. #rrg #redrivergorge…
