Gender
Collection by The Sociological Cinema • Last updated 9 days ago
In one form or another, contemporary sociological theories of gender generally begin with the assertion that gender is a social construct, but what does that really mean? How was it constructed? Furthermore, the "constructed" designation suggests there was a time before gender existed, and if this is true, is it possible to live again without gender? This album is a curated collection of digital clippings that grapple with the above questions.
