Today, I am sharing all of the curriculum I will be using to homeschool my Form 1b child with the CMEC (Charlotte Mason Education Center!) This year is my first official year homeschooling, and we have chosen to go full throttle with Charlotte Mason's philosphy!
I’m sharing a brief review about The CMEC and reasons why we switched our homeschool plans this year. Throughout the years in our homeschool, we have tested out a few different curriculums and methods. And after some trial we finally settled on the Charlotte Mason method. But we weren’t fully emerged in all of Charlotte Mason’s principles initially. Basically we eased ourselves in and we were more of a CM inspired homeschool family in the beginning.

Our daily schedule for a Charlotte Mason inspired Kindergarten. Read my blog for details on when I tackle homemaking tasks, computer work and reading between homeschooling. I also have a baby and a toddler so I share what I do with them while I’m homeschooling our kindergartener. Our schedule may not happen at these EXACT times each day but generally, in the same order.
Here are a few ideas to help you begin your homeschool day! We love to begin our days cuddled up on the couch with some soft music playing in the background while we read our Scripture for the day and then dive into some of our books. I usually sip my coffee during this time, too. Then, we move to the table with breakfast, while we continue reading our books and the kids do their journal activities. You can always add a handicraft for the kids who need to keep their hands busy! #morningtime ...
