Almojabanas or Corn and Cheese Bread. This is a great recipe for appetiser or snack and very popular in the Andean region of Colombia. Very easy to make, just like the Pandebos or Pandeyucas but with different flour.
Michelle's Pandebono recipe: Ingredients: -12 oz box of the pandebono mix -16 oz of queso fresco - 8 oz of whole milk . Instructions: -Mix together all ingredients until you get a thick mixture. -make one inch balls and press down with your thumb. -Oil cookie sheet -Set oven at 450 -Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until they start to turn golden brown . Enjoy with Colombian Hot Chocolate or Coffee!
