I gave this font, Droid some consideration because I think it looks unique being tall and skinny. It is probably too condensed for the book cover and easy readability, and a little too thin.
These are the fonts I am considering for my Trochut cover after narrowing it down from a list of 12. This first one is Bebas because it is clean, tall, bold and condensed. I might not use this because it is a tad too condensed and maybe a bit too tall.
I have decided on Helvetica Neue and thinned out the pattern so now it's time to decide on the placement of the pattern to allow for more breathing more for the text. Also, I want to make sure the name of the author isn't too low on the cover.
I am trying a new font, Helvetica Neue Condensed Bold. It solves the dilemma of picking between Bebas which I liked for it's clean look and sharp edges, and Cubano which I like the thickness of it. The font blends the other two through it's boldness and sharpness.
