Visiting Dress with Jacket, by Au Bon Marché / M.A. Boucicaut, Paris, 1908-11, Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens. Late Edwardian dress of peach colored silk linen with a high lace collar and matching jacket. Silk taffeta rope cording, covered wooden buttons, crocheted cotton thread, and gold thread embroidery. Tubular sleeves (dress and jacket). Covered wood buttons and trim elaborately repeated on the jacket. Sides of the jacket embellished with lattice work and hanging covered wood tassels.
