I've got no other news than it's Friday. And it's been the longest week of my life in addition to the longest month, season, stretch of time, year, etc. I have literally nothing else to say except I NEED A DRINK.

I never got to meet my dad's dad. The closest I ever came was spending this time drawing him. In high school I took that tiny little photo in the corner and made a charcoal drawing for my dad. This is him in his army fatigues during WWII at Battle of the Bulge. (1st picture) . My mom's dad fought in the Korean War and met my grandma while he was stationed in Germany.
