Many years ago, I, most of us, had very active & demanding careers. We were involved in after work activities, for me it was leagues & tournaments. Then one day, we were injured... thus began our new life of 24/7 stop chronic pain. We were no longer able to work, be involved in activities...we lost our careers, friends, home, dreams, health & ourselves. We faced intense judgment, horrendous grief & a fight for benefits. I never thought I would be in so much pain & never get better.

When the truth is, our involvement might trigger a flare up which will then involve weeks of fatigue and illness.
