VOLLEYBALL COACHING + DEVELOPMENT on Instagram: "I can’t tell y’all how many courts I watched this weekend at triple and defense just wasn’t digging balls they should be digging. DEFENSE WINS (but it also loses) and I want you to dig more balls.   But how? ⤵️  1. You need to “LOOK” like you’re ready to dig. Low, on your toes, arms wide and facing the hotter. 2. You cannot be afraid to DIG. Getting hit in the chest, possibly the head, possibly the shoulder is all apart of the defense game. It’s not for everyone but make it for you!  3. You have to have a “ball up” mindset. Stop hitting the back of the ball and thinking it’s going to go up! Get under it when it’s in front of you.  4. Attack the ball.
