1970-77 is the title of Herbert Distel’s work. It consists of a found cabinet (a haberdashery’s cabinet for reels of sewing silk) with 25 drawers, each containing 25 ‘rooms’, to which he invited living artists to produce a miniature work of art. The rooms of the museum were completely filled over the years 1970-77. It is in the collection of the Kunsthaus Zürich/Switzerland.
