Principal Trumpet Mark Maliniak is a recent graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he earned a Master of Music degree as a student of Michael Sachs, Principal Trumpet of The Cleveland Orchestra. During the course of his study there, he was the recipient of the Dr. Calvin E. Weber Award in Trumpet for excellence in trumpet performance.
