he box is approximately 7 inches in diameter and stands a shade over 4 1/2 inches tall. Vanity boxes of this shape were frequently used for jewelry boxes and powder boxes. I don’t believe this was ever used as a jewelry box, because the interior is in such good shape. Made up of an translucent, frosted whitish glass, highlighted with spatters of royal blue, gold and yellow, this rare piece is a stunner!
