First, turn your Jeans inside-out. Hand-washing in the sink or tub with a mild detergent is the best way to clean your painted denim. Do not scrub the painted areas.

Do not put in the washing machine with the painting facing outward.

If hand-washing is not enough, painted jeans CAN be put in the washing machine, inside-out, on the gentle cycle.
