English Chippendale fine china salad and soup plates

Very English, ironstone chintz patterned salad and soup bowls in very pleasant shades of red over an ivory background. They are stamped English Chippendale from Johnson Bros. Both have interesting shapes, a mixture of round and square, if that makes any sense :) The salad plate (also perfect as a canapé or dessert plate), measures 7 and 1/2 inches X 7 and 1/2.
