When FNAF 3 starts up, one of three images of Springtrap revealing Purple Guy's mummified corpse inside him may appear. In the images, Springtrap has human eyes rather than animatronic eyes, though they may be Springtrap's, jammed into Purple Guy's skull when the spring locks failed. This is supported by Springtrap's eyes glowing, a trait not found in humans. Springtrap's eyes may be in Afton's, making his glow. It's also possible the eyes are glowing for a paranormal reason.
