The Pennsylvania Chippendale cherrywood hanging wall cabinet, circa 1790, was purchased at Sotheby’s in 2002 from the Gunston Hall Plantation collection. Within and on top of the cabinet is part of the couple’s collection of mocha ware. One of a pair of portraits by “Mr. Boyd” flank the cabinet.
