Keep in mind, there is absolutely no excuse for Adam’s behavior or actions, but I always figured Adam had a tragic or dark background based on his hatred and almost-psychopathic being as well as wearing his mask always. Evil is almost always created by another evil. I was not wrong and I do feel sympathy for the beast, especially when you remember Adam was once a better person.
