Cook Time: 60 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Glaze
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup Evaporated Milk
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1. Warm milk & water and add to a bowl with yeast, 1/4 cup sugar and yeast. Whisk together until combined. Let sit for 10 minutes until yeast activates and creates a 'foamy' mixture.
  • 2. Add salt, eggs, melted butter and vanilla. Mix together. Add in 2 cups of All Purpose Flour and gently mix together. Add in the remaining 2 cups of flour and mix together until dough forms. Knead dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
  • 3. Add dough to a lightly oiled bowl and leave covered for 1 hour or until dough has doubled. Once dough is ready, add to a floured surface and knead for another 5 minutes. Roll out dough with a rolling pin until very thin. Form donuts by using a lid of a mason jar and piping bag tip.
  • 4. Preheat Air Fryer to 325F degrees and spray donuts with cooking spray. Once Air Fryer is heated, transfer donuts (I baked 4 at a time) for 10 minutes.
  • 5. While donuts are in the Air Fryer, combine all ingredients for the glaze into a bowl and whisk together until glaze is thick and combined. Once donuts are removed from Air Fryer submerge them into glaze- making sure both sides of donuts are covered. Transfer to a wire wrack and let cool for 10 minutes. Once cooled- dip the donuts again for a thicker glaze. Serve and enjoy!
