Yuzen Uchikake - Mid to late Meiji (1880-1911). A very fine silk antique uchikake featuring yuzen-dyed cranes in flight. Embroidery highlights. Five mon (family crests). 49" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 62" height. The crane is one of the three major mystical animals, together with the dragon and the tortoise.
