The turquoise tiara replica worn by Princess Francoise, second wife of Prince Christopher of Greece. The original was made in 1890 in Russia. Designed as a series of thirteen pear-shaped large turquoises, with similar, but slightly smaller spacers topped with diamonds. Each turquoise was surrounded by a diamond loop,  which interlinked with the next; and was raised on a open-work band of diamonds and turquoise buttons held within diamond scrolls.

Tiara from a sapphire parure designed for the Tsarina Alexandra at the beginning 20thC by Friedrich Koechli, a Swiss jeweller in St Petersburg who became court jeweller in 1902. Intertwined scrolls in which 16 sapphires are set mounted in gold. The diamonds are mounted in silver and linked with gold.
