How to target your glutes more than your legs 🍑
  • 1️⃣Since the two muscles are connected you are always going to target your legs a bit especially when you do compound movements like squats, hip thrusts, deadlifts
  • 2️⃣However there are ways you can isolate your glutes more and these are normally by doing banded isolation exercises aka abduction exercises
  • 3️⃣ Some variations of compound exercises can be slightly more glute dominant than others e.g. try take a wider stance for your split squats and lean forward to target more your glutes or prefer sumo deadlifts to still legs deadlifts
  • 4️⃣Do not forget to really warm up and activate your glutes before your workout
  • 5️⃣ Add abduction variations to compound exercise e.g when you hip thrust abduct at the top ☺️
