This was one of those episodes that was so important to the show. Not because it was a major plot device, but because it was an episode that was, for the most part, random yet it hit every viewer right in the heart. Why did no one remember her?
The Doctor is all most obsessed with knowing names, and I'm sure he remembers every single one. The ones he couldn't save.
This is also a running theme of the Doctor getting upset when names get forgotten or are never learned
As someone who works in the Hospitality industry, I've seen firsthand how sometimes others forget that we're people. It was more than proved in this moment.<< Same and it's heartbreaking
i think this episode scared me more than any other episode did because it showed the darkness of human nature and how not all things had an answer and how the doctor couldn't always save the day
That's not really fair of Matt to blame the show for his crutches because, considering that he is a clumsy baby giraffe, we all know he is predisposed to injury.
Lessons from the drunk giraffe
Q: Did you get any advice from Matt Smith?
This show injures us all in some way. For fans, it's more. And every time we think we're over it, something else happens to rip old wounds open.< External as well, now I wanna wear TARDIS blue total look xD
This is perfect. #Mattsmith #doctorwho #eleven #tardis #fezesarecool #DW #bowtiesarecool #drwho #davidtennant #Christophereccleston #petercapaldi #ten #twelve #nine
"'The Doctor & Rose Tyler. Yes, I will cry gladly, I shall cry rivers of tears!' 'Enough to fill two ponds?'" These are the comments on the pin I uses.<<This scene was simply heart-wrenchingly beautiful.
