Week 5 post 4 February 1, 2014. Technique: "tape art." tango new york by Max Zorn.  Max Zorn creates are with packaging tape. The translucency of the tape allows him to work in layers to achieve value and contrast. The more tape he use place on top of one another the darker it is. He peals away layers to achieve lighter values. Finally with glass and some light, you can see his art as the light exposes his brilliant skill. I have tried the technique on my glass dinning room table.
