Shabbat Shalom, Everyone! This week is perashat Emor candle lighting is at 07:33 PM and Habdalah is at 08:29 PM! In this week perasha the Kohanim are commanded not to enter the Mishkan or the Bet Hamikdash in a state of defilement (Tum’ah), not to marry a divorcee, or a widow in the case of the Kohen Gadol, and not to enter in a state of mourning!

Choice between good and evil, Destroy sites of idol worship/offerings only Yerushalayim, False prophet/Subverted city, Kosher animals and birds, Sabbatical and Jubilee. We now look forward to the month of Elul, Selihot, the High Holidays, and Sukkoth. The Perasha of Re’eh continues Moshe’s speech in the last three weeks of his life.
