Low Fat Fried Rice Do you know how easy it is to make your own fried rice? Most restaurants serve fried rice that is drenched in oil and cooked egg. And that’s cool if you like that sort of stuff. But I prefer less to no oil and egg free. So here’s a quick way to satisfy that craving without sacrificing your health. What you will need: About 3 cups (cold) cooked medium grain white rice 1-2 tbsp vegetable broth 2 chopped celery stalks 1 large chopped carrot ½ medium to large onion chopped 1 c. frozen peas 3-4 tbsp. Low sodium tamari Pepper to taste Sauté the celery, carrot and onion in a large pot oil for 5 minutes. Add peas and cook for another minute or two. Add soy sauce. Then, slowly add in rice and mix until well incorporated. Easy peasy!
