Elizabethan Shoes

Regency embroidered shoes: Tambour-embroidered kid/silk shoes with small Italian heels,

Simply gorgeous late-1920s evening shoes by Bob, Inc., a company which quite possibly has the greatest name in history.

1926 Bob evening shoes Reminds me of a beautiful costume worn by Molly Mc Clellan this year at Tribal Fest.

Created in the shop of cordwainer Johnathan Hose & Son (Lombard Street, London, active 18th century), c. 1756. Of brocaded silk with linen lining, leather sole & a Louis heel, the shoes would have required a buckle as a fastener.
