The "Bridge of Death".   On April 26,1986, reactor 4 at Chernobyl failed.  Some residents of Pripyat went to this bridge, where they could have a good look at the reactor. Some say it was the most beautiful thing they have ever seen in their life. Unfortunately the wind was blowing towards them, carrying a heavy dose of radioactivity with it. Almost everybody who stood on the bridge died within the next two days.
