The Tsarevich Egg is a Fabergé egg, one in a series of fifty-two jewelled eggs made under the supervision of Peter Carl Fabergé. It was created in 1912 for Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna as a tribute by Faberge to her son the Tsarevich Alexis (Alexei).

HUEVOS DE FABERGÉ: 69 joyas (obras maestras de la joyería) creadas por Carl Fabergé y sus artesanos para los zares de Rusia (1885 y 1917). Cada año, por Pascua, la zarina recibía uno como regalo, estos huevos siempre contenían una sorpresa. Para su realización, Fabergé utilizaba el esmalte guilloché, metales como el oro y piedras preciosas. Buscaba representar los colores de la naturaleza simulando flores, plantas, insectos y pájaros siempre con el estilo art nouveau típico de esa época.
