Cost of Living in Although, If I remember right, the milk and the gas might be a little higher than they were in our area. I'm also pretty sure that the minimum wage was lower than that also. I remember making 65 cents/ hr in

Trick or treat

The Wowee Whistle. These came out around Halloween each year. They were made of wax, similar to the wax candy lips. You blew on the whistle until you got tired then you chewed up the wax. Quite tasty.

You are too young to remember colored toilet paper...

To hold your rollers in place. Who slept with the rollers on their head. I did back in the day.

Who remembers what these are for? Used to hold brush curlers in place.

Gum Wrapper Chain...I only used one wrapper at a time, made a loop and linked it into the next loop. I was not that much of a gum chewer. If I chewed, I wanted to blow bubbles. Juicy Fruit was my favorite though.

Gum Wrapper Chains - I remember making these in grade school. You can also do it with starburst wrappers!
