Colorado-class battleship USS West Virginia Badly damaged at Pearl Harbor was raised & rebuilt and saw service at Leyte Gulf, Philippines, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa. Received 5 battle stars for service. Decommissioned in 1947 and eventually scrapped.
