Dinosaur depicted in the Palestrina Mosaic 1st Century BC. It always seems to be universally accepted that ALL the dinosaurs were wiped out in one go. Seems pretty unlikely when you think about it rationally.
The picture on the left is from a Mesopotamian cylinder seal dated from 3300 B.C. The animal on the right is an artist's conception of an Apatosaurus taken from a skeleton. There are many striking similarities between the two depictions. Where did the original artist, in 3300 B.C., get the model to draw such an accurate representation of a saurapod?
In the early 1900's on the Doheny expedition into the Grand Canyon, Indian cave drawings were found which closely resembled a duck-billed dinosaur. Human + Dinosaur Fossils bones and primitive tools have been found in the same fossil layers in Texas and the Dakotas. Footprints of dinosaurs and humans coexist in Texas and New Mexico. Cave and cliff drawings in Utah and Colorado depict dinosaur species dating from 400 A.D to 1300 A.D
