San Angelo TX. This 50's era post card shows the Chadbourne St. Bridge leading into downtown San Angelo on what was then Hwy 87 the main north - south thruway and now known as the business route.

Goodfellow Air Force Base: The first of many military homes. This one in San Angelo, TX.

Army Tripler Medical Center, Hawaii. We lived here 1962-63. There was base housing uphill from the hospital. We could see Diamond Head & Honolulu from our backyard and we were even able to down to Pearl Harbor. With a telescope, we were able to see the aircraft carrier (the Midway, if I recall correctly) that brought the 1st US astronauts back in.

Misawa, Japan. Lived there from '92-'95. Amazing food, great people - wonderful memories.
