YARN SUBSTITUTIONALS: For my sloth plant hanger I used 2 skeins of Katia Washi super bulky yarn but instead of the recommended hook size 8-9 mm (US L-11) I used crochet hook size 6 (US hook J-10) for a sturdier effect. Since the yarn “Katia Washi” is not available outside Europe You will find some substitutional yarns below: 🧶 YARN TIPS from other customers 🧶: - Katia Homemade Yarn weight 100G/3OZ (120 yd) using hook size 6.5 - Lion Brand Rewind Tape Yarn weight 100G/3.5 OZ using crochet hook K-10.5 (219 yd) - Bernard Blanket Yarn weight 300G/10.5OZ (220 yd) - Paintbox Yarns Simply Super Chunky weight 100G/3.5 OZ (66yd) using hook N finished size was about 5 1/2 inches deep, 12 inches from top of head to end of basket and total height about 15.5 inches - Big Twist Natural Blend Super Bulky (@joann_stores) using hook 6.5 mm Katia washi product specifications: 100 meters = 109.36 yards 100 grams = 3.53 ounces Hook 8-12 millimeters = US L-11 to N/P-15 70% Polyester, 30% Viscose 10 x 10 cm = 10 stitches x 12 rows NOTE: if you use a different thickness of yarn, keep in mind that the sizes of the eyes, the felt face and the cheeks must be adjusted.
