I will take the hidden paths

JRR Tolkien quote: Still round the corner there may wait a new road of a secret gate: and though I oft have passed them by, a day will come at last when I shall take the hidden paths that run west of the moon, east of the sun.

Truth. Running through the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books probably took me 4 or 5 months.... On 4 books?!

It has come to my attention that reading Lord of the Rings is just one step below actually taking the ring to Mordor on the time commitment scale. and then, you have to read them at least once every 5 years.

Le strade da seguire, tante...

You will have to do without pocket handkerchiefs, and a great many other things, before we reach our journey's end, Bilbo Baggins. You were born to the rolling hills and little rivers of the Shire, but home is now behind you. The world is ahead.

"It's a dangerous business, going out of your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no telling where you might be swept off to." - The Fellowship of the Ring.
