- They were a carbonated sweetened soft drink tablet you dropped into a glass of water and it turned it into whatever the flavor was. They were all pretty good, but my favorite was the rootbeer one!

- Grape Fizzies - so fun

OMG we used to put these on our tongues to see how much fizz would come out of mouths!

Root Beer flavor wasn't so great!

Remember putting these into your mouth andletting them fizz? What were we thinking?
What others are saying

Apparently they are back and available at Cracker Barrel.

I remember these as s kid, such a special treat when mom bought these at the grocery store

Yikes - tasted bad but was too novel to pass up

I used to love the grape ones, in spite of the weird aftertaste, orange were okay, but I was allergic to something in the banana one.

I can remember when these were a big "treat" when I was a kid! Imagine that - wishing we could have this instead of Momma's homemade cooking. LOL

TV Dinners in Aluminum Trays . LOL My mom I recall got angry with me on one occasion at the dinner hour when I said I didn't like what she'd planned for that night's dinner so I asked if I could have TV dinner instead. My Dad said absolutely not !

Remember when TV dinners came in aluminum trays covered with tin foil and took 20 - 30 minutes in the oven?

TV Dinners in Aluminum Trays : The dessert ALWAYS ended up tasting like the main course and whatever was next to the dessert had a slightly sweet taste. Aah, the memories!

❥ TV Dinners-my grandmother washed the aluminum trays and had them stacked on her porch. Waiting for recycling to become a thing, I suppose.

Nostalgic Treats: The Halloween Candy You and Your Kids Both Love

We always called them Wax Bottles but officially they are known as Nik-L-Nips. Whatever you call them they are small wax bottles with flavored syrup inside. First bite off the top, suck out the liquid and then chew the wax, just like gum.

*sure~fire way to acquire a headache as a child!!!

WHAM-O: 1970 Super Elastic Bubble Plastic loved the scent of the presumably toxic fumes from these things OMG they smelled soo bad !

Lik m aid..that pourable candy that mom always said no to....

Lik m aid.that pourable candy that you'd see kid pouring the candy in their mouth and then they would open up the paper bag and lick that too. For some reason as a kid watching, it would nauseate me seeing that.
