I love modern patios. The clean, straight lines and modular forms contrasted with the organic flow of mother nature makes for a really nice pairing. The look is striking, and while I don't have a yard to call my own, these drool-worthy modern outdoor spaces are enough to keep me satisfied for now.

Asian Water Garden: This garden takes advantage of the natural landscape of Yachats, Oregon, combining it with the simplicity and tranquility of Asian garden design to create a living courtyard surrounded by the residence.

Para Eco House / Tongji University Team : The “Para Eco-House” combines both parametric and ecological strategies into the logic of the architectural language used in the house design. Both ‘Passive’ and ‘Active’ energy systems are utilized in this project. Going beyond the functional and environmental requirements, we create a paradigm for a low carbon future.
