"An all-time favorite perennial. The sweet scent of Lily-of-the-Valley will fill the garden in early spring. Each stem produces as many as 25 blooms. Easy to grow in shady areas, but will also thrive in partial sun." My favorite flower.

Corylus Avellana Contorta , Jacobs Walking Stick plant. You grow this small ornamental specimen tree for it's aptly named contorted shape. It's a very slow growing tree and really does not like much sun. Mine gets too much and the leaves get burned on top. Actually it looks best in the Winter when the leaves are shed and the branches are visible. It has long slender hanging bracts in the Spring which look quite nice. Might reach 6' in many years.

Corylus, Contorta An old variety, but something to talk about. Its twisting, spiral branching is most visible in winter.
