Black Laquer Gusoku and Kabuto by Saotome Iesada, 18th century. A sixty plate suji kabuto, signed Saotome Iesada lacquered black and mounted with a four-stage gilt-metal and shakudo chrysanthemum tehen kanamono, the cuirass a yuki no shita do trimmed on the edges with shakudo fukurin and fitted with eight sections of five-lame kusazuri; shino gote with diamond-shaped plates and chain mail on the upper arms.
