This 20” high, two socket table lamp has a six-sided hammered and riveted shade with a long stem rose motif. The art glass used in this example is one of many possibilities, including single color glass or amber mica panels. With two 60 watt bulbs, this lamp provides plenty of light to read by or turn the dimmer down for a more ambient look. This lamp is priced at $2390. (Gorgeous, but too spendy for my budget.)
Savina Art Glass Table Lamp Viore Design
Tiffany Stained Glass Victorian Table Lamp. The first Tiffany lamp was created around 1895. Beautiful in design and intricacy, each lamp was handmade by skilled craftsman, not mass or machine produced. Its designer was not, as had been thought for over 100 years, Louis Comfort Tiffany, but an unrecognized single woman named Clara Driscoll who was identified in 2007 by Rutgers professor Martin Eidelberg as being the master designer behind the most creative and valuable leaded glass lamps.
