I love Miles Davis' "On The Corner." I think it marked the point where you knew for certain that Miles would not return to his pre-electric days, and that his new directions and developments would keep on keeping on. Great stuff! Here's the opening of the album. It's as if you turned the dial on a radio to a station that was already playing one very cool thick song. I copied this "the song has already begun" idea in the beginning of a couple of my compositions:
