Isn't it amazing how two people can come from far away places and fall in love? Give the gift that symbolizes love from two different places.
This small 4"x4" frame holds a one of a kind heart made from real maps reflecting places special to you.
Each heart is unique and made from real maps from my large collection of recycled atlas, so the result will be a surprise.
Let me know which place you would like for each side of the heart in the Notes to Seller section at checkout. I'm using world atlases so some small towns might not be available. Please contact me first if you are unsure if your locations would be available.
Using recycled atlases presents somewhat of a challenge: maps cannot be resized, so small towns will not appear large in the heart half; I use a variety of map sources, so sometimes maps of different scales will be used on each side; I do my best to place the city you want in the center of the heart, but sometimes that is just not possible due to where it is placed on the printed map.
The locations you choose for each heart half will be located as close to the center of heart as possible. Please designate which location you would like on each side of the heart. If you do not specify the sides, I will put the first location listed on the left and the second on the right. I will contact you if I have trouble fitting the locations onto the sides of the heart requested.
Please write the quote/text you would like in the "Notes to Seller." There is room for a short phrase. Custom text can include names, dates, special phrases, song titles or anything else you can think of!

This backing for the heart is 100% post consumer content recycled white card stock. It is glued on white paper with text printed on it.
The frame is a new 4"x4" (10.2cm x 10.2cm) tabletop frame. It has a pane of glass to protect your heart.
