This amazing little cup was used for chocolate.  Made in the Sèvres Factory in the early 19th century, it was hand painted after a portrait by Marie Victorie Jacquetot.  The portrait is of Louis Dauphin, the father of Louis XVI, Charles X and Louis XVIII.
