Havana’s famous destination because of the personalities which have patronized it, as well as for claiming to bei the birthplace of the Mojito cocktail, La Bodeguita del Medio is the only Cuban franchise to have establishments scattered around the world, with five of them in Mexico.
The team behind Bodeguita del Medio Mexico has commissioned us with the creation of a new line of souvenirs to be sold at the restaurants’ stores, in which we revisit iconic Cuban symbols like revolution, music, culture and the Cuban poster school, giving the design a new, unexpected and creative twist. Defactori is rapidly becoming a major style authority and one of fashion’s biggest success stories in Guadalajara, Mexico. We developed the materials for the brand with this brave and irreverent approach to style in order to capture the imagination of fashion-conscious shoppers and industry insiders alike.
Embedded in Nike’s mission statement is the phrase: “If you have a body, you’re an athlete.” With that as the axis for this campaign, David A .Young (Creative Director) and John Rees (photographer) came up with the concept behind this memorable, whimsical and original campaign. Our role in it was to create the branding elements and the icon that identify the series and connect ordinary, daily-life activities to Olympic sports.
Johnson & Johnson requested a fresher look for their line of sunblock products in Brazil. Though the brand had been well positioned in that country for a while, J were looking for a more festive, familiar and colorful approach to the design of the labels.
Bodie is an original mining town from the late 1800′s. What’s left today stands in a state of “arrested decay” and is maintained by the California State Parks System, who took over the town in 1962 to make it a State Historic Park. That ghost town inspired the name and aesthetic approach of the mining firm Bodie Machinery & Metalworks, based on Draper, UT and Ghana.
