Needleworked pocketbook of Robert Frazer, Philadelphia late 18th century - Rectangular case worked with Irish stitch in overall pattern of triangles of roses, worked in wool yarns in shades of green red, pink, yellow, opening to corss stitched panel. Inscribed`Robt Frazer.` note: Robert Frazer (D. 1821) a distinguished Philadelphia lawyer, was the son of renowned Revolutionary General Persifor Frazer and Mary Worrell Taylor Frazer. 6 x 4 1/2 in.

Pawling was born on August 28, 1722 and grew up near the confluence of the Schuylkill River and Perkiomen Creek near Valley Forge. This area later became known as Pannepacker's?
