Another science fair idea: Make rainbow roses by splitting the stems into strands and placing each one in food coloring. The roses draw the food coloring into the petals.Hmmm not a bad idea for Amarah's Science Fair Project!

Rainbow roses....Cut the steam as pictured and place in 4 different dye colors

Prepare 4 glasses of warm water with different food coloring. Use alot, the stronger the better. Use a cream or white rose. Split the bottom of the stem into 4 sections about high. Put each section in a different color and let sit for approximately hours.
