I do not mean I have nothing planned. I mean that I plan to do nothing.

I am not really an introvert per se but I do need time alone and I'm very comfortable with it. Cause I'm an introvert!

Introverts crave meaning, so party chichat feels like sandpaper to our psyche. #Pearls

I'm equally introverted and extroverted. But one thing that leads me to believe that I am more introverted is my extreme abhorrence of small talk. Sandpaper to my psyche is extremely accurate.

not the way I do. And maybe, I'm starting to be okay with that. I'm okay just taking in the beauty of everyday life. And I am content with being by the side of another, each of us quietly appreciating life in our various ways

Not all the time, but sometimes definitely. I see interesting opportunity to help people if they will feel my value as a person that can do great things, then I'm useful.

. . . Not any longer.

This can be so tremendously hard for some people to understand (I've encountered it countless times over the course of my life). My being quiet does not mean I have anything to hide. I just don't have anything I want to, or feel like showing you.

I think I've always been half out of my shell and half in. Sometimes I can be extremely wild and sometimes I can be extremely shy. It just depends on the day.

Soooo what youre saying is.im a teenage mutant ninja turtle? Turtle in a half shell. Sorry lame joke XD

I am hopeful that my son will be just like my husband...

Definitely going to teach this to my girls. I don't have boys but I would have been proud to have any number of them exactly like my husband!

Introvert problems.

ending a conversation earlier than you really want to because you imagine youre bothering the other person. Introvert Problem more like social anxiety problem

I can read music kinda but I never feel it when I'm playing it, only when I'm hearing it.

"I haven't understood a bar of music in my life, but I have felt it." - Stravinsky And feeling the music is what it's about!

"I prefer to sit back and take it in." "I love listening to others talk." This happens to me every day. Sometimes, not EVERYBODY has to participate. Sometimes, you need someone who can sit back and look around. And that's not weird. It's who they are comfortable being. Without listeners, who would ever be able to speak?

I don't participate (if at all) during group conversations. I love listening to others talk and I'll chime in if it's something I'm passionate about or knowledgeable about. Otherwise, I'd prefer to sit back and take it in. completely me.

This is SO TRUE: The funny thing about introverts is once they feel comfortable with you, they can be the funniest, most enjoyable people to be around. it's like a secret they feel comfortable sharing with you. Except the secret is their personality.

Respect headphones as a sign of intentional isolation. (I may or may not have a history of wearing headphones without actually listening to any music, just to make sure no one talks to me.
