A Very Young Paul Newman served in the United States Navy in World War II in the Pacific theater. Unable to be a pilot, because he was colour blind.

He was a film and television actor best known for his role in the television series Mission: Impossible.

Peter Graves-Army Air / Peter Graves and James Arness (Matt Dillion on Gunsmoke) were brothers.

Brian Keith (1921-1997), SGT, U.S. Marine Corps WW II.  He served  (1942–1945) as an air gunner (he was a Radio-Gunner in the rear cockpit of a two-man Douglas SBD Dauntless dive-bomber in a U.S. Marine squadron), and received an Air Medal.
