A great place to curl up. I've always dreamed of having an indoor library as a room in my future home. Comfy chairs, coffee table, shelves upon shelves of books, open backyard window, NO tv in that room.

Modern Interior Design by Philippe Stuebi. This expressive volumetry emerged thanks to the special form of the plot and the requirement of the constructor to place a maximal volume.

@Nathan Mallonee Warner hopefully we can have a library in our home like this one.

I want books everywhere in my house. living room and books (Chester Tufted Leather Sofa)

In my NYC days, we spent many weekends at my friend Michael Wager’s house in Roxbury CT. We played bridge around the clock, with occasional breaks for food and rest. His house was a restored barn chock-a-block full of books, antiques and memories from his acting career. He had one of these hidden bookcase doors which went into the former silo which Michael had converted into a vertical master bedroom suite. Very cool. #secretdoor #books #library #interiordesign (at Roxbury, Connecticut)

What a great alternative for a small space, upholstered benches that can be tucked under the table and seat more people, so long as they don't mind snuggling up. These benches can be brought to other areas of the space, too, for 360 degree seating.

I don't LOVE the rug. but I think the green curtain, built-in shelves filled with books and the (presumably) sliding ladder are wonderful. Its missing a fire place, lots of cozy blankets and an oriental rug!
