She wrote The Good Earth, won a Pulitzer & is known "for her rich & truly epic descriptions of peasant life in China & for her biographical masterpieces, millions gained an appreciation for the Chinese through Buck's writings.” She set up agencies for orphaned Asian-American children & the retarded & had incredible wisdom about life, which was seen in her books & life.
