AJIEP, SUDAN: A young malnourished boy uses uses a tree to stand up 16 July at a feeding centre in the town of Ajiep, in the Bahr El Ghazal region of Southern Sudan.

When the Berlin wall was built, this little boy was stuck on the opposite side to his family. Despite orders to not let anyone pass, this German soldier helped this boy over the barbed wire so he could get to his family. The soldiers superior saw him do this and immediately detached the soldier from his unit. no one knows what happens to the soldier afterwards. It's amazing that he risked everything just for one little boy. he's truely an extraordinary man!
